"The debut album by American bassist and composer Lee Puckett. “Last Horizon” features Lee’s diverse compositional blend of Jazz Fusion, Funk and ambient Progressive Rock. Having been influenced by fretless masters such as Jaco Pastorius, Gary Willis and Alain Caron, Lee's fretless bass features prominently throughout the album, from the mysterious phrases of “Vulture Culture” and “Last Horizon" to the pensive vocal-like melody of “Dulces Sueños.” Compositionally this collection is a veritable Kentucky Burgoo of modern rhythmic structures, angular harmony, eastern-influenced melodies, full-out funk, acoustic ambience and swinging Bebop.
